After purchasing land in Bend, this investor contacted Simplicity to design and build the homes for their development. In order to make this project profitable for the investor, our in-house design team created a custom floorplan allowing more units per acre. Each home features a main house with an upstairs attached accessory dwelling unit (ADU) providing this investor double the rental income.
The ADU offers 582 square feet, 1 bedroom, 1 bath with a fully appointed kitchen, living room, and an outside private entrance. This innovative design was awarded “Best Feature” in the Central Oregon Builders Association 2020 Tour of Homes.
