We are grateful to the firefighters, medical personnel, first responders, and volunteers working around the clock to protect and assist our neighbors. We’re proud to have been part of the Spokane community since 1994, and we want to support our community however we can.

We’re hosting a community gathering on Thursday, September 10, 2026 from 5:30–7:30 PM at 827 W Cleveland Ave., Spokane, WA. Join us for dinner and connect with local trusted experts in homebuilding, insurance, mortgages, restoration & rebuilding – all in one place. Bring a friend, family member, or neighbor.
What resources are available after wildfires? In an effort to help, the teams at Simplicity and Hayden Homes have compiled a list of local resources into a guide to make the recovery process a little easier to navigate.
Spokane Area Emergency & Disaster Relief
If you need immediate help, start with these resources:
- American Red Cross Northwest Region – Emergency shelter, food, and disaster relief for those displaced by the fires.
- Spokane County Emergency Management – Evacuation zones, alerts, and current fire information.
- Stevens County Emergency Management– Live map and updates.
- Washington State Fire and Disaster Resources– Statewide fire and disaster response services.
Federal & Insurance Assistance
For information and guidance on receiving financial assistance or help with insurance claims, refer to:
- FEMA Disaster Assistance– Application for federal disaster relief funds for affected individuals.
